Make a donation to support ballroom dancing in Pittsburgh.
USA Dance Pittsburgh supports the collegiate ballroom dance programs at Carnegie Mellon University and Duquesne University. Before the national competitions in 2022, we had several opportunities with and for the competitors. This year, we were a sponsor of CMU Ballroom Dance Club’s Carnegie Classic. We made a contribution to the Duquesne Club for general support. We have also supported Pitt’s Ballroom Club over the years.
Special Needs Outreach Program: between last year’s fall Dinner Dance silent auction and Jari Jariwala’s fundraising, we raised over $7,000.
In the past, we’ve sponsored a ballroom program for 6th graders within the Woodland Hills School District culminating in a dance social where students are able to demonstrate what they’ve learned to family and friends.
